Riera could be close
to Liverpool exit

Alber Riera could be close to a Liverpool exit after incidents at the training ground and his verbal attack on Rafael Benitz

The Spanish international is officially suspended by the club. Riera is banned from training and cannot return before Monday.

Riera has only been inolved in two games since January and the frustration is there to see.

To be a Spanish international with hopes for a place in the the World Cup this summer, you can understand the frustration.

Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has been under pressure this season and his only hope of a good end is their current form in the Europa League.

The return of Fernando Torres is important and makes Liverpool a different football team. The trouble with Alberto Riera is something the club and Benitez himself would have like to be without.

Rieare is not injured and believe that he should be an integral part of the Liverpool team. His form is good and the fact that he need first team action to be in the picture for a place in the Spanish squad for the World Cup makes it all difficult.
